I am honestly surprised that Bruins fans haven't rioted yet. I mean the rest of the season opens TWO DAYS before ours? Come on NHL, get your shit together and throw the most dedicated fans in the league a bone or two. And then we play two games, a day apart, and then have 4 days off?! I had to go 4 months without hockey, four days of break during the season is three days too long. And even though we do have to wait a few extra days, let's just introduce now one of my new favorite Bruins. Number 21 on the ice, number one in my heart (maybe not). Loui Eriksson everybody.

I would just liked to make this blatantly clear for those who may question it. Yes I am female. Yes I do enjoy checking out some of the players. No, that is not the only reason I watch hockey. I understand the game better than most of the guys at my school, and probably better than both of my brothers. I would watch hockey even if all the players looked like this:
But we can't forget about those who look like this:
So before anyone calls me a puck slut, try actually opening your eyes to fact that there is a female hockey fanbase as well. Thank you.
